What’s shakin’ at Rodzart 04-30-2010

Hi Folks. Surprise, I’m writing a blog two weeks in a row! I hope everyone has had a good week; it sure has gone by quickly.

I’d like to remind everybody that I’m on Facebook Myspace and twitter, and you’re all invited friend/fan/or follow me. The links are down at the bottom of the blog.

I also wanted to mention that I have a CafePress shop now. Nothing too big at the moment, but it won’t take too much incentive to get me to expand it. The link to my Cafepress shop is down at the bottom of the blog too.

I’ve got a couple of new paintings for you this week. The first is another Painting in the “Project 901” series and is called: Expression 1023.

The next is an extension of “Project 902” which is a series of paintings concentrating on shapes. The new painting is: Composition 1024 Expression 1024.

I’ve also added two more ACEO’s (art cards editions and originals) to Etsy
All of my ACEO’s are original paintings, and extremely inexpensive, so I hope you’ll have a look at them.

Periodically I like to mention that I am available to do work on commission. Hopefully my now everyone should know what sort of painting I do, so if you’d like an original painting done just for you, just drop me an email at info@rodzart.com The cost of a commissioned painting depends mostly on the size, and the time and materials involved. Generally speaking, a commissioned painting won’t cost any more that any of my other paintings, there can of course be exceptions. Just remember that I’m an abstract expressionist, and a non-objective painter, so don’t ask me to do a portrait of your cat, at least the four legged kind.

I hope you’ll all also remember that I’ve got six paintings hanging in “The Art of Hair” salon at 10963 Causeway Blvd., in Brandon. So, the next time anyone needs hair styling, or 21st century art, I hope you’ll drop by and check them out.
